While we move through the long hot days of summer and you’re enjoying family gatherings at seaside resorts or cool mountain retreats, your donations are making a difference to many in the State of Florida who are working to overcome obstacles they’ve encountered during life’s journey.

Thanks to you, these sneaker gifts, purchased and distributed by Slick’s Kicks Charitable Foundation, Inc. TM , affirm the community’s belief in these individuals’ ability to complete their self-help programs and to step out into a community that needs and values their talents.

We’re 7 months into our mission, and we’re channeling our energy every day into a number of activities that align with our mission! We’re proud of our two new community partnerships with One Purse of Orlando, FL and WestCare/The Village South in Pembroke Pines, FL. - organizations to whom we’ve gifted sneakers to encourage, uplift and commend recipients of their services. We thank these organizations for posting our logo to their community partner website pages and for including us in their newsletters! To leverage our presence in the State of Florida, we’ve advertised on South Florida radio stations. We’ve been interviewed by radio talk show hosts and magazine editors and we’ve launched rack card and brochure advertising campaigns. We were honored to receive the proceeds raised at the FSU College of Medicine’s 5K in Tallahassee, FL earlier this year. We’re also proud new members of the Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce!
